The Art and Design department offers a range of activities and experiences for pupils.

As a staff we aim to promote confidence of handling various media while instilling art and design appreciation to develop each pupil’s ability, enquiry skills and perceptions.

Staff within the department aim to support pupils in constructing a personalised route of learning while drawing upon pupils personal interests.

At all times staff are aware of young people’s needs and have amended the content, delivery and materials of each lesson to cater to the needs and requirements of each individual.

Practitioners within the department aim to continue to implement additional practical skills and techniques to enrich learner’s experience.
